Starting my first Wyoming work

October 11, 2015

A month or so ago, Jack and I took an unscheduled, spontaneous trip over the border into Wyoming.  It was a beautiful Saturday, and we just didn't feel like doing boring weekend chores.

We're lucky to live only 15 minutes from western Wyoming.  So, on to Hulett we headed.  The weather threatened rain on and off that day, but it made the colors of all the landscapes so intense.

This is one of the images I took on our drive back to SD.  The sketch reflects my vision of this landscape in an illustrative technique.  More to come!
