Easter Egg hunt LEAD style! Ahhh spring in the Black Hills!
We had a foot (or more) of SPRING snow yesterday & all last night in the hills of Lead, SD. That means spending a day in my studio. Woot. (Update...Jack just came back from retrieving my car from where I had to park it last night. Couldn't make it up the hill. He took a picture of the park in Lead. There is an Easter Egg Hunt going on in all that snow!)
Today, I am putting the finishing touches on a 30" x 30" oil commission. No picture yet until I deliver it to my clients!
Can't wait for my new panels!
But, before getting into the studio, I saw that
is having a big BOGO sale on brushes and stuff. Love art shopping from my living room! I use mainly Ampersand Gessobords for my work. The smooth solid feel of the board works great with either acrylic or oils. I also use the 1.5" or 2" cradled boards. This way I can save the cost of framing and keep the cost of the paintings down for my customers!
Stay tuned for some quick sneek peeks of my commission later. Have a lovely day.
